Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) continues to expand its network to widen the reach of its programs and services. On September 16, 2015, Dr. Moshin Habib, International Business Program Director of Swinburne University of Technology, Australia paid a courtesy visit to CPSC to look into possible collaborative programs.
CPSC Officer-in-Charge / Acting APACC President Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel and some CPSC staff met Dr. Moshin and shared about CPSC's on-going programs, which also include the developments in APACC accreditation. Dr. Moshin, on the other hand, talked about Australia's possible contribution to CPSC, which is to assist in connecting and building the Asia Pacific capability, especially in the TVET sector. He added that his university has already been sending students to various Asian countries for special internship programs and was excited to learn that CPSC has been providing such programs. The meeting also led to discussions on strategies that would strengthen APACC's role in improving the delivery of TVET programs and facilitating workforce mobility in the region.
