The Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) team welcomed on November 10, 2016, a delegation from the San Francisco Institute of Science and Technology (SFIST) located in Albay, Philippines. The team, headed by the Vocational Instruction Supervisor Mrs. Marietta Verchez, visited CPSC to submit their application form and supporting documents for APACC accreditation and to get better understanding about the APACC system.
A short meeting ensued headed by the Chairman for APACC Operations and CPSC Faculty Consultant, Prof. Dr. G. Kulanthaivel. He expressed his appreciation to SFIST for the visit and shared the latest developments in APACC, such as the establishment of the Association of APACC Accreditees (AAA), and its upcoming second meeting in Malaysia on December 01, 2016. The Projects and Consultancy Division Officer Ms. Adrienne Abril discussed the recent changes in the APACC system including fees structure and the certificate categories and duration.
Mrs. Verchez expressed her sincere appreciation to the APACC team for the warm welcome accorded them. She vowed that their institution, through her leadership, will prepare the necessary documents and improve their facilities for the APACC Onsite Visit, forward looking to achieve a gold level award.
