The CPSC Director General, Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane, attended the 6th World Education Congress and Awards held in Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India from November 22-24, 2017.
In the course of the event, he received the EduTech Leadership Award in honor of unique and creative leaders that demonstrate guidance, integrity and outstanding commitment to education technology.
Attended by more than 2000 people from various countries, the World Education Congress and Awards focused on connecting Education, Environment and Technology in order to be more effective to increase education standards and at the same time to protect the environment.
The congress comprised of inspirational keynotes from across the world who are pioneering educators’ that are already changing education in their classrooms and technology leaders from education and innovative technology companies.
Dr. Lamichhane also presented his lecture on “Fostering 21st Century Skills” in one of the sessions during the three-day event. He also met with renowned professors, educators and leaders around the world including Mr. Nurul Islam Nahid, the Bangladesh Education Minister and Dr. R.L Bhatia, the Founder of World CSR Day and World Sustainability.
