The Director General, Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub visited several high ranking officials in Sri Lanka in connection with his attendance to the Colombo Plan Council Meeting held July 25, 2012.

Dr. Naim paid a courtesy visit to the President of Colombo Plan Council and High Commissioner of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Colombo, H.E. Mahbub-Uz-Zaman (center) and H.E. Azmi Zainuddin, High Commissioner of Malaysia in Colombo (leftmost) on July 24, 2012.
Meeting with Secretary General of Colombo Plan
On July 26, 2012, a day after the Council Meeting, the Director General had an inclusive meeting and thorough discussions on wide ranging areas for cooperation between CPSC and the Secretariat with the Secretary General of Colombo Plan, Mr. Adam Maniku. They particularly discussed possible signing of Memorandum of Agreement for collaboration in training programs.
Meeting with CPSC LO in Sri Lanka
The DG visited CPSC's Liaison Officer and Director General of Department of Technical Education and Training (DTET), Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development, Sri Lanka Dr. H. Chithral Ambawatte (2nd from left) on July 25, 2012. The visit primarily aimed to apprise DTET with the current activities of CPSC and discuss matters pertaining to the participation of Sri Lanka in CPSC programs and activities.
