Upon the invitation and full sponsorship of the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, the Director General of the Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC), Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub addressed participants of the MySkill Workshop in conjunction with the Ministry of Education Malaysia for Technical Vocational Education and Skill-Based Training. The event was held on January 27, 2014 at the Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Aside from Dr. Naim, Prof. Peter Kell of Charles Darwin University, Australia and Dr. Guido Schieders, DAAD Representative in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia took part in the event as guest speakers.
The workshop paved the way for sharing of experiences and best practices relating to internationalization of TVET and skill-based training programs. The participants also discussed the issues and challenges in running TVET programs in Malaysia.
