Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane shares his knowledge and expertise as one of the speakers at the EduTECH Philippines 2020 held online on August 17-18, 2020.
Under the Higher Education Conference cluster, Dr. Ramhari delivers a presentation on “Extending and Adapting Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in a Remote Setting”, in which he tackles basic terms about PBL during the start of the presentation. He then discussed more specific ideas which are shown through different media such as diagrams and video. The presentation concludes with the benefits that can be derived from this set-up, as well as the ways on how to adapt PBL in a remote setting given the current situation brought about by the pandemic. A short question and answer portion ensues together with the Conference Manager Germaine Khor.

Dubbed as the first ever virtual event for educators in the Philippines, EduTECH Philippines 2020 convened over 60 expert speakers and leading minds from head educational institutions and premier schools and universities across the country. Aimed at exploring and showcasing the latest edtech (educational technology) innovations and solutions, presentations and live panel discussions were broadcasted online for its approximately 5,000 attendees. CPSC is a continuing partner and exhibitor of the previous and current EduTECH editions, which are organized by the global events company Terrapinn.
