The Director General of Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC), Dr. Ramhari Lamichhane, enlightened a total of 194 members of the Lions Club International, Nepal as well as participants from other countries about the intricacies and rubrics of delivering online teaching and learning management. The meeting was conducted online via Zoom on August 8, 2020 at 4:30 PM, Nepal Time. The online event was also streamed live by the NP Media Group, one of the leading news organizations in Nepal.
The program was organized by the Lions Club of Kathmandu Swayambhu Town in which the CPSC DG is one of the founders. It is also in association with CPSC and Lions Club International, Nepal. It aims to further spread the knowledge of online learning management to Nepal in light of the cancellations of social activities due to the coronavirus pandemic. The program was chaired by the current president of the Lion’s Club Kathmandy, Mr. Kulnidhi Adhikari and was facilitated by the first president of the Lions Club Swayambhu Town and Principal of Rising Star School and College of Management, Kathmandu, Mr. RB Adhikari.
In addition to Nepalese participants, directors and educators from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, India and Bhutan were also present during the online session to share their thoughts and experiences in delivering online learning as well as to listen to the presentations.
