The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General Prof. G.L.D Wickramasinghe recently conducted a visit to the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization – Regional Center for Educational Innovation and Technology (SEAMEO INNOTECH) in view of renewing CPSC’s partnership with the center. SEAMEO INNOTECH Deputy Director Mrs. Kochakorn Khattapan Acidre welcomed CPSC at their office in Quezon City, Philippines on February 14, 2024.
The parties discussed possible collaborative programs that the education sector mostly needs whereby both CPSC and INNOTECH can contribute their specific strengths and capacities. The meeting was also joined by the CPSC Executive Secretary Mrs. Arlene Cruz; SEAMEO INNOTECH Knowledge Management and Networking Office Manager Mr. Christopher Lawrence S. Arnuco, ESQ.; Learning Development and Management Office Manager Dr. Juan Robertino D. Macalde; and Senior Officer Mr. Jelico Angelo V. Arriesgado and other members of the INNOTECH team.

CPSC and SEAMEO INNOTECH shared about the background of their organizations, including their services and activities. Apart from sharing about each of their specific areas of expertise for varied possible programs that they can collaborate on, the INNOTECH team also showed the training venues and office facilities for any future joint activities. Both CPSC and INNOTECH looked forward to a reaffirmed partnership for any potential collaborative programs or undertakings in the near future.
