Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja, 13 th CPSC Director General addresses the CPSC family during the welcome event thrown in his honor
The CPSC family warmly welcomed Prof. Dr. Suresh K. Dhameja, as he assumed his charge as the 13th Director General (DG) of the College in a welcome ceremony held on September 9, 2024 in CPSC.
The CPSC family conveyed their messages and pledge of support to the leadership of Prof. Dr. Dhameja. Each one wished for more successful programs, projects, more achievements for CPSC under his helm and for the realization of his visions for the College.
Prof. Dr. Dhameja, in his response, said that “today, standing in front of my CPSC family once again, before as a Faculty, and now as the Director General, is a dream come true! It has always been a dream of mine to continue serving the College and its stakeholders as a Director General after my stint as a CPSC Governing Board-Engaged Faculty Consultant. Now, I am living my dream of further, sincerely and fully serving CPSC and its member countries as I take my initial step towards my journey as 13th Director General of CPSC. Indeed, the key to success is patience and perseverance. With the strong support of my CPSC family, I am sure the College will soar to even higher and greater heights!”
Dr. Kesavan Ulaganathen, CPSC Governing Board-Engaged Faculty Consultant, who was in Malaysia for a CPSC In-Country Program, welcomed and wished for all the best for the new DG via a recorded video message. He promised to work closely with the Director General for the continued success of CPSC.

Ms. Arlene Cruz, CPSC Executive Secretary, representing the 12th Director General, Prof. G.L.D. Wickramasinghe, who ended his term in August, handed over some primary documents and the symbolic Key to the Director General’s office. Ms. Rosalinda Gonzales, Finance Officer and Mr. Vergel dela Paz, Training and Development Division Officer handed some tokens of welcome to the new DG and his wife, Ms. Seema Dhameja. Ms. Chyna Lorania introduced the honoree to the CPSC family and shared about his profile followed by introducing each division and their team members to the new DG.
Prof.Dr. Dhameja previously served as a CPSC Governing Board-Engaged Faculty Consultant from September 2005 to September 2008. Aside from having been an Academic Board member in CPSC, he handled the Chairpersonships of the following divisions: Training and Development; Research and Development; and the General Services. He also headed the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) as its Chairperson.
Prior to his appointment as the new CPSC Director General, Prof. Dr. Dhameja was Professor in the Department of Entrepreneurship Development & Industrial Coordination (EDIC) at National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR) in Chandigarh, India. He also held various positions at NITTTR such as the Dean for Academic and International Affairs; Head of Departments of EDIC, Information Management & Emerging Engineering (IMEE); and Chairman of Academic Cell.

Prof. Dr. Dhameja was selected by the CPSC Governing Board through the Special Governing Board Meeting held on April 18, 2024.
