Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja formally introduced himself to H.E. Tull Traisorat during his courtesy visit at the Royal Thai Embassy in Makati City, Philippines on October 11, 2024. Prof. Dr. Dhameja also gave some updates on relevant activities of CPSC in view of furthering the mutual support and partnership between CPSC and Thailand.

During the visit, Prof. Dr. Dhameja expressed his gratitude to the Honorable Ambassador for the embassy’s unwavering support to CPSC, particularly through its regular and timely remittance of its membership contributions. He also thanked the Ambassador for the invitation to the Symphony Orchestra event which Prof. Dr. Dhameja attended on September 16, 2024.

Likewise, Ambassador Traisorat thanked CPSC for its strong partnership with the Royal Thai Embassy, noting the success of the recent collaborative program in June 2024 in commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Thai-Philippine diplomatic relations. With this, Prof. Dr. Dhameja shared with the Ambassador his insights to maximize the services offered by CPSC through income-generating programs which can support the Staff College amid financial challenges. He also sought further support from the Royal Thai Embassy for possible engagements of Thais in CPSC’s Professional Internship Program for International Experience (PIPIE); for TVET institutes in Thailand to avail of its customized programs and study visits; and to increase the exposure of and encourage keen interest on APACC in Thailand.

Ambassador Traisorat congratulated the new Director General and expressed his enthusiasm for Prof. Dr. Dhameja’s plans and extended his best wishes for CPSC's continued success under his new leadership.
