Colombo Plan Director General Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja formally introduced himself to the Secretary General of the Colombo Plan Secretariat, Dr. Benjamin P. Reyes, on October 23, 2024 during his courtesy visit to its office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Upon meeting the CPS Secretary General, Prof. Dr. Dhameja discussed strengthening the partnership between CPSC and CPS to advance such partnership into potential collaborative programs and projects. They also discussed the issues of common interests and affirmed to work together towards the development of the countries under the Colombo Plan membership.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Dhameja extended his invitation to Dr. Reyes to be the Chief Guest in CPSC’s programs whenever he is in the Philippines, the host country of CPSC. The CPS Secretary General gladly accepted the invitation to grace the programs and pay courtesy visits to CPSC in the future.
