CPSC Director General Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja visited the Government Polytechnic Panchkula, Haryana on December 23, 2024; and the Government Polytechnic for Women, Chandigarh on December 24, 2024. The visits involved meetings with various officials, namely: Ms. Esha Mehta, Vice-Principal, Government Polytechnic Panchkula; Ms. Vin Dosanjh, Principal, and Dr. Rajesh Kumar Jhamb, Head of the Department of Modern Office Practice, Government Polytechnic for Women, Chandigarh.
Both meetings were highlighted by discussions regarding the potential APACC accreditation for both institutions, a cause in which all parties involved agreed on its significance. The officials of both Polytechnics expressed their interest on the matter, and promised to consider the proposals favourably. And with the groundwork laid for a potential partnership, efforts on the further development of TVET in India may also be considered in the future.
