Background

Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers significant opportunities for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), particularly in the development, assessment, and accessibility of skills for both trainers and learners. By leveraging advanced technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing, and predictive analytics, AI enables personalized learning experiences, optimizes curriculum management, and provides real-time feedback to students.

AI fosters inclusive education and presents a dynamic approach to addressing the growing demands of the modern workforce. It ensures that TVET graduates acquire the specific skills needed to meet the requirements of contemporary industries by means of enhancing their employability, and contributing to the growth and competitiveness of industries and economies.

In this webinar, we will explore how AI is reshaping TVET through Competency-Based Education (CBE) and inclusive skills development. We will also discuss the practical applications of AI as well as the challenges, benefits, and future trends related to AI integration within the TVET educational landscape. This webinar aims to facilitate knowledge-sharing among the member countries and beyond in a particular niche area of TVET.

  • To examine how AI can personalize training pathways based on individual needs, strengths, and career aspirations
  • To highlight AI's role in promoting inclusive education by addressing the needs of the learners
  • To present successful case studies and emerging trends in the integration of AI into TVET
