In affirmation of the close ties between CPSC and its member countries, two officials from the Ministry of Labor, Mongolia visited the CPSC headquarters on March 22, 2013.
Ms. G. Batchimeg, Specialist-in-charge and Program Coordinator of the Department of Vocational Education and Training Policy Coordination and Ms. Khulan Tsogbayar, Officer of the External Relations Division and Ms. Asako Maruyama, Education Specialist at the Urban and Social Sector Division of the Asian Development Bank, exchanged pleasantries and goodwill with CPSC staff members. CPSC was represented by Dr. Hazrat Hussain, Faculty Consultant and Officer-in-Charge on behalf of the CPSC Director General Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub, who was on an official visit abroad.
CPSC presented the initiatives, programs and activities that it has conducted in Mongolia since its membership in 2005, as well as several information regarding the college’s function and mandate. The delegation also affirmed the continued support of the Mongolian government to CPSC in improving TVET systems in the region. The visit also forged strengthened relations between CPSC and the Ministry of Labor, and assured more active cooperation and fruitful partnerships between both agencies in the future.
