Maj Assoc. Prof. Engr. Dr. Mohamad Hisyam Mohd. Hashim, the Deputy Dean of Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), visited the Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) from March 4 – 7, 2013. He met the CPSC Director General Dr. Mohammad Naim Yaakub to explore involvement of himself and UTHM in training and developing pool of accreditors in Malaysia for the Asia Pacific Accreditation and Certification Commission (APACC) and possible contribution to the ongoing CPSC Project on Skills Development for Poverty Alleviation.
They also discussed the potential input of Dr. Hisham to the STEPS Journal as Editorial Board Member or paper contributor, and joint conduct of research and development activities, publications, and international conferences/seminars between CPSC and UTHM as strategies to implement the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two institutions in October 2011.
