The CPSC Director General Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja met with the Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology’s Dr. Manpreet Singh Gujral and Engr. M.L. Rana, who serve as Principals for the institute’s Degree Wing and Diploma Wing, respectively. The visit, held on December 9, 2024, involved thorough and fruitful discussions regarding the future of the CPSC and CCET as potential partners in various TVET-related activities.

The heads of both Wings of the CCET expressed the possibility of their faculty members’ involvement in CPSC’s various research activities, training programs and webinars, either as participants or resource persons. They also showed interest in conducting a potential study tour around the most well-regarded TVET institutions all over the Asia Pacific. Should enough collaborative activities be conducted, this brewing partnership between the CPSC and CCET may open the doors to a potential APACC accreditation and MOU signing in the near future.

Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (CCET), established in 1959 as Central Polytechnic Chandigarh (CPC), is a public engineering college in Chandigarh. Having two separate main “Wings,” CCET offers both Degrees and Diplomas, with their focus being on technical education and engineering.
