The Colombo Plan Staff College (CPSC) Director General Prof. Dr. Suresh Kumar Dhameja met with Prof. Rajesh Kumar Bhatia, Director (Ad-Interim) of the Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) on December 4, 2024, to discuss potential collaborations and partnerships.

The CPSC Director General and PEC Director discussed potential collaborative opportunities, aiming to further advance technical and vocational education and training (TVET) in India, and strengthen the ties between the CPSC and the aforementioned member country. The PEC director was pleased by the opportunity for such a meeting, and has expressed a fruitful collaboration with CPSC and may possibly extend to other TVET organizations.

Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) is a public research and technical institution in Chandigarh, originally founded in 1921 in Lahore. Established in Chandigarh in 1953 where it is currently based, their focus is on fields such as engineering and technology.
